In 2012 Foundation Football travelled to Spain on a cultural and educational sporting experience for our young athletes, It was here that we formed our business relationship with SportsandTours.com run by Jorge Bermudez. Blown away by how well organised our tour was, we began discussing future tours and this has led to establishing a business relationship to promote tours through Jorge's impressive network of affiliates and contacts.
Foundation Football is headed by former professional footballer Gus Cerro, realizing the value of sports in a child's overall development, Gus opened his first Soccer program in 2004. In 2009 FFtravelleded to Sabah, Malaysia on our first cultural and educational tour. Hosted by former Australian International Scott Ollerenshaw this tour was the stepping stone for the now extremely popular Borneo Cup. To this day Foundation Tours is an authorized agent for Borneo Sports Tours offering affordable sports holiday packages.
Seeing the benefits of an international tour for children we now organize tours for our students every year. The benefits of travelling to a foreign destination is an excellent way for young athletes to learn about historical elements, different cultures and foods, plus being part of a group, young athletes learn the importance of respect for their hosts, the unique environment of travelling whilst competing against opposition which helps to create lifelong bonds. The tours also provide an excellent holiday opportunity for families accessing destinations and areas in both cultural and sporting environment not open to the general public.

Our aim is to ensure that the quality of our products and services are of the highest standards including 3-5 star hotels, luxury coach travel to and from events and the added benefit of a host having a wealth of experience and connections locally.

In 2012 through their extensive network and relationship with FC Barcelona, we gained access to meet and watch the training session of Lionel Messi and his Barcelona Teammates. Foundation Football Australia is a company committed to the education and well being of children through sports. Fundacion Deportes has been operating since 2004 initially starting as a football school for children. Today FD manages it's own football school and is proactive as consultants offering assistance to clubs, schools and individuals via player management, curriculum implementation, technical club structure and football education. Sport is a powerful tool that teaches many of life's important lessons that include Leadership skills, coping skills and a healthy sense of self-esteem. Sports forms a connection that enables children to learn the importance of working as a group, a hard work ethic, discipline and respect. All are characteristics which can and do apply to everyday life and work. Sports enables children to interact and connect with the community. It is our passion and ongoing commitment to education and the rights of children that drives our company.
